Technical University of LIBEREC
The Technical University of Liberec offers 65 study programmes with more than 160 study branches throughout its faculties and the institute. Detailed information about study opportunities, conditions for admission and requirements and way of verifying them are mentioned in chapters of each faculty on their websites.
Accredited study programmes one can complete as a Bachelor, Master, or more precisely joint Master or postgraduate Doctoral. It is possible to study most of them either as a full-time study or distance education; many of them are also accredited for being taught in English.
There
are held numerous programmes of lifelong learning, usually under the
auspices of Centre for Continuing Learning at TUL.
During the
study, ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) is used, graduates get
bilingual supplement to their diplomas (Diploma Supplement).
Standard
study period is set from one to six years according to the type of
the study programme.
Applicants
apply for chosen study programme and study branch by handing in
properly filled application form up to defined date/deadline.
Applications for study are handed in by applicants to the faculty
they apply to. The application is sent electronically –

Payment
receipt of the administrative charge is required with the application
form.
Faculty of Education
The Faculty of Education at the Technical University of Liberec has educated 1200 graduates for teaching professions within its 15 years of existence. It has ranked among the renowned faculties of education in Czech Republic. It can be proud of attracting a constant interest in its study programmes among secondary schools graduates, as well as people of profession, wishing to complete their education. It offers structured study programmes. It has accreditation in three-year bachelor studies of non-master specializations as well as master specializations for elementary, first and second stage, and secondary schools. Language teaching is at a high level of quality.
The Faculty of Education TUL, especially its departments of natural sciences, physics, chemistry and applied mathematics, is engaged in the scientific and research activities of the university and in research activities in enterprises. Students join scientific work by carrying out specific research and participating in professional and artistic activities. The best works are presented abroad. The faculty is also proud of its Department of Physical Education, where top sportsmen study.
